Per Georgia Administrative Rule 509-3-.06, all private detective license holders and registered private detective employees must complete a minimum of seventy hours of instruction from a Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies (GBPDSA) approved provider before being issued a state license.
Our primary goal when creating this course was to provide a superior training experience over anything else available on the market and, through regular updates, to keep it that way. Upon completion of this course, the student will not only have obtained the fundamental skills and tools necessary to be a working private investigator in Georgia, but will also have been exposed to the inner-workings of a number of different investigative specialties as well.
Going way "beyond the basics" means that our graduates are ready for success!
This online course is updated regularly in our effort to provide the very latest material that our training clients need, today, to become a private investigator in Georgia. Additionally, bonus material in this course includes the actual forms, statement taking scripts, client contracts, subcontractor agreements and written policies we use at CompassPoint Investigations; we’ve even provided eleven (11) real examples of the very investigative reports provided to our clients in several very different investigations.
Lastly, our course includes necessary information on the proper self-marketing and networking required in today's environment to become attractive to potential employers, find PI employment opportunities and maintain an edge over others competing for the same job availabilities.
Course Director, L. Scott Harrell, is a licensed GBPDSA Classroom Training Instructor, license #CLTR000950, and is approved to lead this 70 hour course. Click Here to View the approval and license information
