Continuing Education for Tennessee Private Investigators

CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 23, 2003 PIEducation.com today announced the formal acceptance of its online courses for completion of all continuing education requirements mandated for license renewal by the Tennessee Private Investigator and Polygraph Commission.

"We worked closely with he Tennessee Private Investigator and Polygraph Commission during the curriculum review process." said PIEducation.com President L. Scott Harrell. "The Commission in Tennessee wanted to insure our training met their professional standards and that we would serve the licensees of Tennessee with quality training opportunities. We're proud to have met and exceeded their expectations." Harrell concluded.

Tennessee licensed private investigator and Claims Verification Incorporated District Manager, Travis Borden, said of his recent experience with PIEducation.com, "Having five other private investigators licensed in Tennessee, all requiring continuing education, used to be a very expensive and inconvenient process. First, we had to find an affordable class and then pull all of our investigators out of the field while they traveled to and from the course; we oftentimes had associates away from their assignments for 3 days. Then we had to make travel and hotel arrangements, which could get very expensive. Finally, we had to pay our investigators for their time." "The whole process was made extremely easy when we were allowed to have our investigators attend online training. No travel expenses and very little time detracting from our billable hours."

Designed to meet continuing education requirements within the private investigator industry, the company first began offering Internet training courses in Texas when the Texas Commission on Private Security approved its online course curriculum in July 2002. In May 2003, the company was also accepted by the Iowa Department of Public Safety Program Services Bureau to provide online continuing education to its private investigator, security, and bail enforcement agent licensees. Further plans for expansion include Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon and Virginia.

MJM Investigations Director of Investigations, Cheryl Senker, added, "Continuing Education for large companies with many investigators can be a hardship." "We have increased our division's profitability and efficiency simply by putting our eligible associates through PIEducation.com's online courses. The Surveillance Strategies for Success course has also augmented our own company's in-house investigator training and orientation."

"As always your CE was great and I actually learn something new with each course I take. The format makes the information easy to understand and makes sense. The review for the online test is a great help as to the main issues of the course. Thanks."
