6 CE Hours that Include the Following Courses

Day 1: Oct 27, 10 AM–1 PM ET

• Account Takeover Prevention for Private Investigators (2 CE) — prevention strategies, secure authentication, stronger passwords, and tools that detect compromises early.

• Victim Psychology in Identity Theft and Fraud Cases (1 CE) — identity theft affects victims’ behavior, memory, and cooperation. Learn the stages they go through and how to adapt your approach to improve both their recovery and your results.

Day 2: Oct 28, 10 AM–1 PM ET

• Emerging Threats: Identity Theft, Fraud, and Cyber Threats (2 CE) — current criminal tactics, risk assessment, and effective response.
• Building Strong Identity Theft Investigation Agreements (1 CE) — critical provisions, spotting gaps, and communicating changes to clients professionally. Not legal advice; have an attorney review any agreement.

Important Details 

• Live, instructor-led via Zoom – two days, 3-hour sessions.
• Camera and audio required for CE credit (state requirement), so a reliable connection matters.
•  Check-in opens 9 AM ET; join by 9:30 AM ET for attendance, ID verification, and tech checks.
• Class starts 10 AM ET sharp – that’s 9 AM CT, 8 AM MT, 7 AM PT (Zoom room will open an hour early).
• You must attend both days to earn all 6 CE hours.
• Refunds/transfers: Written notice required. 14+ days before class: 100% refund. Less than 14 days: no refund or credit. If we cancel for insufficient registration, emergency, or technical failure, you may reschedule at no charge or take a full refund.
