Sometimes, process servers must conduct stakeouts and/or surveillance to familiarize themselves with a subject’s daily routine. This is a common practice when a subject is evading service. Surveillance can bring to light the pattern of the subject making it much easier to serve them. Surveillance can also be used as an information gathering tool, and present opportunity for the server to make contact with the subject. This online course will teach the basics of physical covert surveillance.
